Reporting to the development team leader, the incumbent will assume the role of Scrum Master with one or more Agile/Scrum teams working in the Strategic Sourcing sector. In collaboration with the other Scrum Masters, he will also help the organization (Mediagrif and its subsidiaries) to understand and adopt agility and empirical product development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Guide team members in the use of agile practices. Facilitate the team to adapt the Scrum methods;
  • Organize and facilitate the different Scrum ceremonies: daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives;
  • Help team members to overcome the various obstacles they may encounter during a sprint;
  • Ensure harmony within the team. In case of conflict, assist the team in identifying and resolving problems;
  • Make sure that the team inspects its ways of doing things and that it seeks to constantly improve.
  • Promote technical excellence and good design practices;
  • Coach the agile team towards self-organization. Ensure that each team member is involved and understands his or her role;
  • Work closely with other Scrum Masters working on the same product;
  • Support the Product Owner and assist him/her in organizing the product portfolio to maximize its value;
  • Help employees and stakeholders understand and adopt agility and empirical product development;
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of agility application within the organization.

Desired profile

  • Essentials:
    • Communication skills, good listening skills;
    • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
    • Positive and participative leadership;
    • Being client-oriented;
    • Very good communication skills, bilingual (French and English);
    • Good knowledge of the software development cycle in Agile / Scrum mode;
    • Have a very good knowledge of JIRA to manage and track user stories and product notebook.
  • Assets:
    • Experience collaborating on a product with several Scrum teams and several Scrum Master teams;
    • Knowledge of DevOps.


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology / software development or any combination of training and equivalent experience;
  • Significant experience in Agile and Scrum development;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Scrum Master certification, an asset.
